1. Who we are

ShrijiCrafts ("Shriji Crafts", "we", "our" or "us") is a business based in India that sells handcrafted products through shrijicrafts.com and shrijicrafts.in. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at info@shrijicrafts.com or +91-9650789565.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order details, including the products you buy and any engraving or personalisation text.
  • Account details if you create an account.
  • Messages you send us.

Payment information

Payments are processed by PayPal. Your card or PayPal account details are entered directly with PayPal — we never receive or store your full card number. PayPal tells us whether a payment succeeded.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser and device type, operating system and language.
  • Pages you visit, products you view, items you add to your cart and checkout steps.
  • How you arrived at our site, including advertising click identifiers (such as Meta and Google click IDs) and campaign tags.
  • Session recordings and heatmaps (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) — see section 4.
  • Information stored in cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders, including payment, shipping, customs paperwork, returns and customer support.
  • To run and secure the website, including keeping your cart and login, and preventing fraud and abuse.
  • To understand and improve the website through analytics.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, including showing relevant ads on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Google, and measuring which ads lead to purchases.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (orders), our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving our store), your consent where the law requires it (such as for certain cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Analytics and advertising services

We use the following third-party services. Each acts under its own terms and privacy policy.

  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms) — record events such as page views, product views, add to cart, checkout and purchases, with product IDs and order value. Events are sent from your browser and from our server so they can be matched to the right ad. For checkout and purchase events, your email address and phone number are hashed (SHA-256) before they are sent, so Meta receives a scrambled value rather than the plain text. Meta Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (Google) — measure traffic, shopping behaviour and ad performance. Purchase events are sent from our server, with your email address hashed. Google Privacy Policy

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the store: our e-commerce platform and hosting providers (including Cloudflare), PayPal for payments, and shipping carriers and customs brokers for delivery.
  • Analytics and advertising partners listed in section 4.
  • Authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or others.

6. International transfers

We are based in India, and our service providers operate in several countries, including the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by these providers, such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep information

We keep order and transaction records for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. Analytics and advertising providers keep data according to their own retention settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
  • Object to, or restrict, certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it.
  • Opt out of marketing messages at any time.

EEA and UK residents also have the right to data portability and to complain to their local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell personal information for money. Using advertising services such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. To opt out, turn off marketing cookies in (also linked in the footer of every page), or email us with the subject "Do Not Share My Personal Information". We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as an opt-out of sharing. You also have the right to know, delete and correct your information, and we will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

India: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct and erase your data and to raise a grievance with us.

To use any of these rights, email info@shrijicrafts.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

9. Your choices

  • Choose which analytics and marketing cookies we use in , linked in the footer of every page. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked before any of these are used.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see our Cookie Policy.
  • Manage ads from Meta in your Meta ad preferences and from Google in My Ad Center.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

10. Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure payment processing through PayPal and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

11. Children

Our website is intended for adults. Although we sell products for children, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. For significant changes, we will place a notice on our website.
